I have been blessed with several very diverse careers so far; one in public relations, another as a certified nutritional counselor and now as an aspiring writer and conference speaker. Raising two wonderful children and several dogs and cats along the way, has been a blessing as well!
An avid traveler and military wife, my husband and I have been to 49 states and 39 countries, meeting many incredible people along the way. Although difficult to acquire a degree while living a nomadic lifestyle, (translate: B. C. – before computers and online courses) I finally did that with my B.-Min in the early ’90s.
When my husband felt called to become a pastor recently, we left sunny Arizona and the golfing profession, for the cold climate but warm and friendly residents of northeastern Ohio.
As an author, I’ve published two coming-of-age novels, available on Amazon.com, Sometimes Marriage is a Real
Crime and the sequel, Casey’s Journey, which continues Katherine LeVay’s search for her abducted daughter.
I also wrote a short novella, The Curious Proposal for Prosperity, Nevada, found on www.Smashwords.com for free. Currently my non-fiction Christian book discusses our mental, physical and spiritual connection to food “Life’s Too Short to Eat Bad Cheese . . .” (nutritional and life lessons God teaches us) which can be found world-wide through Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and some major Christian distribution sites.
My newest endeavor is also my ministry. Presented for a love offering, my seminar series entitled, “Life’s Too Short to Eat Bad Cheese!” (nutritional and life lessons God teaches us) targets Women’s Bible Studies and other Christian groups. It addresses the complicated mind, body and spiritual aspect of health. Begun in Arizona and continuing in my current state of Ohio, I have hopes of branching out as God assists me. Your prayers as I reach out to those needing Godly structure and encouragement are greatly appreciated. Someone out there needs to know that God Doesn’t Make Junk. Understanding and deciphering nutritional truths while conquering food cravings are indeed possible!
If you believe that life is indeed meant to be lived with a purpose for our LORD, I invite you to join me in the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle through exhibiting intentional, God-honoring ways!
