“Life’s Too Short . . .” Seminars

stressed out dieterWith all the stress and culinary temptations in our contemporary society, how can we present our bodies as living testimonies to our Lord and still retain our sanity around food? It’s tough but doable! If you live anywhere near Eastern Ohio, now you can find out!

“Life’s Too Short to Eat Bad Cheese!” (nutritional & life lessons God teaches us) are practical, flexible and lively seminars targeting today’s Christian woman. Physiology is informative and  fun! Discover how to use practical Biblical applications to overcome temptations and become your healthiest mental, physical and spiritual self.

Aiming for a realistic, productive, positive and humorous approach to living and eating sensibly, each seminar is designed to encourage by using practical Biblical principles. God gave us the perfect diet in the Garden of Eden. He  doesn’t want us to survive on rice cakes and celery!  But each of us are created physiologically and psychologically different, so why not embrace that fact?

Have you ever wondered why you act as you do around certain foods? How you can strive for individual excellence? It seems you can control everything except a certain craving for food! As a strong Christian, aren’t you sick and tired of being sick and tired of losing control? Why does the devil tempt us with discouragement and doubt?  That’s not how our heavenly Father wants us to live!  It is possible to overcome a defeated attitude and honor God with our bodies.  Strive to live a vibrant life and become a New Creation today! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

These fast-paced and informative seminars are presented for a Love Offering. They are easy-to-understand and individually designed with a Q& A time following each session. Here is just a sampling of the topics addressed:

  • Strive for Excellence . . . Not Perfection!
  • Why dieting is like the Westminster Dog Show.
  • Stressed??  I’m not STResseD!!!!  Just give me chocolate!
  • What does all this mean to you in “dog years”?  Deciphering dietary hieroglyphics.
  • Why craving ice cream is NOT a personality disorder!
  • The good, the bad and the ugly of weight loss systems.
  • How then should we eat?
  • Breaking Free from Mental Chains.
  • Creating “Solomon Smarts” to handle any dietary challenge.

I believe a relaxed and informative seminar would be a wonderful outreach to the community and could draw others to your church as well. (Change the mom – change the family.)  It could be presented as a one-day Saturday, weekend or weekday social event, accompanied with a soup and/or salad luncheon.  (Never fear, remember two of my mantras: “Anything’s fine in moderation” and “Eat for nutrients!“)

Please feel free to contact me by email at itascaellie@hotmail.com to discuss further details.  I look forward to hearing from you. Blessings,

    • There’s always a chance in the future. I’d love to go to Toronto. I never met a Canadian I didn’t like. They seem to have a zest for life and smile more than most which is my philosophy too. 🙂 Thank you for reading my blog and I do hope you’ll come back. (One can never have enough friends! 🙂 ) Blessings,
