A very informative post, Ellie. When I’m hungry I sometimes (should do it more often) think of what I’ve already eaten that day and try to eat another food group.
There was a time recently that I didn’t feel like fruit and then suddenly I had this craving for it. 🙂
Excellent observation and thanks for commenting. I’m sure your mind was trying to convince you to consume a healthy choice. Doesn’t it feel great to conquer your cravings with a nutritious choice< Blessings,
Thank you for this post Ellie! Like a “Fantastic Voyage”, you have turned the light on to what is going on inside us…both mind and body. Thanks again…Blessings!

It’s very important to realize when food is in the driver’s seat. Jesus is the king of your soul and you are the captain of your soul. Don’t let food rule over you but rather be of good discipline. Take time to understand how food can try to control you and yet how you can find the right balance at such times.
I agree. God had to renew my mind before I could lose the excess weight.
Thank you.
